萨尔瓦多·西莫，西班牙动画导演、编剧、制片人，深耕动画与视效领域三十余年。1991年，他远赴洛杉矶，进入美国动画学院学习，在课余参与制作了一部《花生》系列动画特辑。回到欧洲后，他投身传统动画领域。他曾参与多部好莱坞大片的幕后制作，包括：《纳尼亚传奇2：凯斯宾王子》《波斯王子：时之刃》《007：大破天幕杀机》《奇幻森林》《加勒比海盗5：死无对证》。

他的首部动画长片《布努埃尔在神龟迷宫中》（2018）在Animation Is Film Festival电影节世界首映，一举捧回评审团奖。随后接连荣膺第32届欧洲电影奖最佳动画片与第34届西班牙戈雅奖最佳动画片，并在第29届昂西国际动画节再获评审团特别奖。由他执导的中西合拍动画电影《守龙者》（2024）入围第39届西班牙戈雅奖最佳动画，并斩获第37届中国电影金鸡奖最佳美术片。

Profile:
Salvador Simó is a Spanish animation director, screenwriter, and producer with over 30 years of experience in the fields of animation and visual effects. He started studying at the American Animation Institute of Los Angeles in 1991, where he also participated in the production of a special Peanuts feature. After returning to Europe, he worked in traditional animation. He has contributed to the production of numerous major Hollywood blockbusters, including The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Skyfall, The Jungle Book, and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

His debut animated feature, Buñuel in the Labyrinth of the Turtles (2018), had its world premiere at the Animation Is Film Festival, where it won the Jury Prize. It subsequently garnered critical acclaim, winning Best Animated Feature at the 32nd European Film Awards and the 34th Goya Awards, as well as the Jury Distinction at the 29th Annecy International Animation Film Festival. His China-Spain co-production animated feature Dragonkeeper (2024) was nominated for Best Animated Feature at the 39th Goya Awards and won the Golden Rooster Award for Best Animation.
