珍妮特 · 保尔森·赫伦尼科

珍妮特·保尔森·赫伦尼科拥有40多年的电影行业经验，1981年至1996年期间担任夏威夷国际电影节的创始总监。1990年，担任棕榈泉国际电影节首位总监；1992年至2015年，担任亚太电影促进网络创始董事和亚太电影促进网络美国分会创始人和总监。2009年，获得了釜山国际电影节韩国电影奖，该奖项颁发给在推广韩国电影全球化方面做出了杰出贡献的电影制作者。曾担任釜山、孟买、多伦多和柏林等众多国际电影节的评委。 制作、撰写和导演了多部纪录片、短片，2004年制作了《大地有眼》，这是斐济唯一一部获得奥斯卡最佳外语片提名的叙事长片。这部电影在圣丹斯电影节全球首映，在多伦多的ImagineNATIVE电影与媒体艺术节上获得了“最佳故事片”等奖项。 珍妮特曾是亚太电影奖国际提名委员会的成员，创立了电影发行公司亚太电影网（Asia Pacific Films.com），后来成为Alexander Street公司的电影策展人，该公司向全球7000多所大学发行电影。目前，珍妮特是电影和戏剧制作公司Te Maka Productions的总裁和制片人，活跃于电影行业。

 

With more than 40 years of film industry experience, Jeannette Paulson Hereniko is best known as the founding director of the Hawaii International Film Festival, a position she held from 1981 to 1996. She was also the first director of the Palm Springs International Film Festival in 1990; a founding board member of NETPAC (Network for the Promotion of Asia Pacific Cinema) and the Founder/Director of NETPAC/USA from 1992 until 2015. In 2009 she was awarded the Korean Cinema Award from the Busan International Film Festival that is given to individuals who have made outstanding contributions in promoting Korean cinema to the world film community. She has served on juries for many international film festivals including Busan, Mumbai, Toronto, and Berlin. She produced, wrote and directed several documentaries and short films and produced The Land Has Eyes in 2004, the only narrative feature film nominated from Fiji for consideration for “Best Foreign Language Film ”at the Academy Awards. The film had its world premiere in Sundance and won “Best Feature Film” at Toronto’s ImagineNATIVE Film & Media Arts Festival, among other awards. She served on the international Nominations Council for the Asia Pacific Screen Awards and started Asia Pacific Films.com, a film distribution company, later becoming a film curator for Alexander Street, a company that distributes films to over 7000 universities around the world. Currently she is active in the film industry as the President and Producer of Te Maka Productions, Inc. a film and theatre production company.
