张同道，北京师范大学纪录片中心主任，艺术与传媒学院教授。中国高等教育学会影视传媒委员会会长。曾任五个一工程奖、中国电影金鸡奖、中国电视金鹰奖、星光奖、上海白玉兰电视节、四川金熊猫电视节、广州国际纪录片节、加拿大世界电视节、卡塔尔半岛国际纪录片节等影视节评委。学术著作有《多元共生的纪录时空》《电影眼看中国》《电影眼看世界》等，2010年主持发布中国第一部纪录片蓝皮书《中国纪录片发展研究报告》，连续发布12年。创作有纪录电影《小人国》《零零后》《追光万里》《白马姐妹》，电视纪录片《贝家花园往事》《文学的故乡》《伊文思看中国》等，作品曾获美国纽约国际电影节、波士顿国际电影节、卡塔尔半岛国际纪录片节、国家广电总局、金熊猫、金红棉等中外奖项。

Profile:
Zhang Tongdao is the Director of the Documentary Center and a Professor at the School of Arts and Communication, Beijing Normal University, as well as the Chairman of the Film and Television Education Committee of the China Higher Education Association. He has served as a jury member for numerous prestigious film and television awards and festivals, including the “Five One Project” Award, the Golden Rooster Awards, the China Golden Eagle TV Art Festival, the Tencent Video Starlight Award, the Shanghai TV Festival Magnolia Awards, the Golden Panda Awards, the Guangzhou International Documentary Film Festival, the Banff World Media Festival (Canada), and the Al Jazeera International Documentary Film Festival (Qatar). His academic publications include A Pluralistic and Interdependent Documentary Space, China in the Kino-Eye, and The World in the Kino-Eye. In 2010, he spearheaded the release of China’s first blue book on documentary, The Study Report on China’s Documentary Development, an annual report he has led for 12 consecutive years. As a filmmaker, his documentary features include Kids Kingdom (2009), Born in 2000 (2019), In Pursuit of Light (2022), The Sisters of Baima Tibetan (2025). His TV documentary series include Once Upon a Time in Bussière’s Garden (2015), Literary Hometowns (2020, 2025), and Ivens On China (2021). His works have been recognized with numerous domestic and international accolades, including awards from the New York International Film Festival, the Boston International Film Festival, the Al Jazeera International Documentary Film Festival, the National Radio and Television Administration, the Golden Panda Awards, and the Golden Kapok Awards.
