陕西省文艺评论家协会主席，西北大学电影学院院长，二级教授，博士生导师，中国西部影视研究院院长，陕西省哲学社会科学和文化艺术领域领军人才，陕西省教学名师，陕西省文化宣传六个一批人才，陕西省哲学社会科学重点研究基地“丝绸之路影视与戏剧研究中心”、陕西省电影评论与理论研究基地“中国西部电影研究”首席专家。全国广播电视理论十佳百优人才。中国高校影视学会副会长，教育部艺术类专业考试招生委员会委员，中国电影家协会理论评论委员会副会长，中国高校影视评论委员会主任等。

He is the Chairman of the Shaanxi Province Literary Critics Association, Dean of the School of Film at Northwest University, a Level-2 Professor, a doctoral supervisor, and the dean of Western China Film and Television Research Institute. He is recognized as a leading professional in the fields of philosophy, social sciences, and cultural arts in Shaanxi Province, as well as a distinguished teacher and one of the "Six Batches of Professionals" in cultural promotion in Shaanxi Province. He serves as the chief expert at the "Silk Road Film and Drama Research Center," a key research base for philosophy and social sciences in Shaanxi Province, and at the "Western China Film Research" Section of the Shaanxi Film Criticism and Theory Research Base. He is also among the "Top Ten and Top Hundred" outstanding professionals in national radio and television theory. He serves as Vice President of the Chinese Collegial Association for Visual Art, a member of the Ministry of Education's Art Major Examination and Admission Committee, Vice Chairman of the Theory and Criticism Committee of the China Film Association, and Director of the Committee on Film and Television Criticism of Chinese Collegial Association for Visual Art.
