评委简介：
西蒙·梅萨·索托，哥伦比亚导演、编剧及制片人。他在安蒂奥基亚大学学习视听传播，后赴伦敦电影学院攻读硕士学位。其毕业短片《莱迪》（2014）斩获第67届戛纳电影节短片金棕榈奖，由此一举获得国际瞩目。随后的短片《母亲》（2016）再度入围戛纳电影节短片金棕榈角逐，并在世界各地屡获奖项。

他的首部长片《安帕罗》（2021）于第74届戛纳电影节影评人周单元首映，并获新星奖。第二部长片《诗人》（2025）获第78届戛纳电影节一种关注单元评审团奖，并先后在墨尔本、圣塞巴斯蒂安、慕尼黑等国际电影节斩获重要奖项，还代表哥伦比亚角逐第98届奥斯卡最佳国际影片，同时获第41届美国独立精神奖最佳国际电影与第40届西班牙戈雅奖最佳伊比利亚美洲电影提名。

Profile:
Simón Mesa Soto is a Colombian director, screenwriter and producer. He studied Audiovisual Communication at his hometown’s Universidad de Antioquia and later pursued a Master’s degree at the London Film School. His thesis film, Leidi, won the Short Film Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival 2014, catapulting him to international acclaim. His next short film, Madre, was again selected to compete for the Short Film Palme d’Or at Cannes and went on to win numerous awards across the globe.

Amparo (2021), his first feature film, premiered in the Critics’ Week section at the 74th Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Louis Roederer Foundation Rising Star Award. Un Poeta  (2025), his second feature film, received the Jury Prize in the Un Certain Regard section at the 78th Cannes Film Festival. It won top prizes at international film festivals in Melbourne, San Sebastian, and Munich. It was selected as the Colombian entry for Best International Feature Film at the 98th Academy Awards, as well as being nominated for Best International Film at the 41st Independent Spirit Awards and Best Ibero-American Film at the 40th Goya Awards.
