西安外国语大学教授，博士生导师，兼任教育部第四届全国翻译专业学位研究生教育指导委员会委员、陕西省社科联第五届委员会常务委员、陕西省学科建设和研究生教育教学指导委员会常务委员、陕西省委宣传部陕西电影跨文化译介与传播研究中心首席专家、陕西省广播电影电视局影视剧审查组专家、西安市社会科学界联合会第六界委员会副主席。主要从事文学翻译理论和翻译批评、中国电影跨文化翻译和国际传播研究，出版《<红楼梦>英译艺术比较研究》等著作5部，《<论语>今译新解（英汉对照）》《贾平凹散文选》等译作10部；发表“论文学翻译的文学性”等高质量论文40余篇；承担省部、国家级科研项目15项。研究成果多次获得陕西高校哲学社会科学和陕西省哲学社会科学优秀成果奖。

He is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Xi'an International Studies University. He also serves as a member of the Fourth National Education Steering Committee for Graduate Programs in Translation under the Ministry of Education, an executive member of the Fifth Committee of the Shaanxi Federation of Social Sciences Circles, an executive member of the Shaanxi Provincial Academic Development and Graduate Education Teaching Steering Committee, Chief Expert at the Shaanxi Film Cross-Cultural Translation and Communication Research Center under the Publicity Department of the CPC Shaanxi Provincial Committee, an expert on the Film and Television Censorship Committee of Shaanxi Provincial Administration of Radio and TV, and the Vice Chairman of the Sixth Committee of Xi'an Federation of Social Science Associations. He mainly focuses on literary translation theory and criticism, cross-cultural translation of Chinese films, and international communication research. He has published five monographs, including A Comparative Study of the Two English Versions of Hong Lou Meng, and ten translated works, such as A New Translation and Interpretation of the Analects (Chinese‑English Bilingual Edition), and the Selected Prose of Jia Pingwa. He has authored over 40 high-quality academic papers, including "On the Literary Nature of Literary Translation," and has presided over 15 provincial, ministerial, and national-level research projects. His research achievements have been repeatedly recognized with the Outstanding Achievement Award in Philosophy and Social Sciences from Shaanxi Higher Education Institutions and the Shaanxi Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Awards.
