演员、制片人，毕业于北京电影学院2003级表演系本科。2007年，凭主演的打拐题材片《盲山》中白雪梅一角受大众关注，影片入围第60届戛纳电影节一种关注单元一种关注大奖。2009年，主演的剧情片《中国姑娘》获第62届洛迦诺国际电影节金豹奖；同年，主演的剧情片《世界之间》入围第66届威尼斯国际电影节主竞赛单元。2013年，凭爱情喜剧片《对面的女孩杀过来》提名台北电影节最佳女主角。2014年，凭剧情片《云的模样》获得第8届FIRST青年电影展最佳女演员奖。2016年，其主演的电影《三伏天》入围第66届柏林国际电影节全景单元；同年，主演的剧情片《一只黄鸟》入围第69届戛纳电影节影评人周单元。2019年，凭剧情片《G杀》提名第38届香港电影金像奖最佳女配角。2025年，主演电影《花明渡》入围圣丹斯电影节。

As an actress and producer, she graduated from the Performing Department (enrolled in 2003) of the Beijing Film Academy with a bachelor’s degree. In 2007, she gained public attention for her role as Bai Xuemei in the film Blind Mountain, which addressed the issue of human trafficking. The film was nominated for the Un Certain Regard Award at the 60th Cannes Film Festival. In 2009, the feature film She, a Chinese, in which she starred, won the Golden Leopard Award at the 62nd Locarno International Film Festival. In the same year, the feature film Between Two Worlds, was selected for the Competition section at the 66th Venice International Film Festival. In 2013, she was nominated for Best Actress at the Taipei Film Festival for her role in the romantic comedy Apolitical Romance. In 2014, she won the Best Actress Award at the 8th FIRST Youth Film Festival for her role in the drama film How to Describe a Cloud. In 2016, the film Dog Days, in which she starred, was selected for the Panorama section of the 66th Berlin International Film Festival. In that same year, the drama film A Yellow Bird was selected for the Critics’ Week section of the 69th Cannes Film Festival. In 2019, she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the 38th Hong Kong Film Awards for her role in the drama film G Affairs. In 2025, the film LUZ, in which she starred, was selected for the Sundance Film Festival.
